In modern use a concentration or cami is a loose-fitting sleeveless woman's undergarment which covers the top part of the body but is shorter when compared to a chemise. A camisole normally extends to the midsection but is sometimes popped to expose the abdomen, or extended to hide the complete pelvic region. Camisoles are created from light materials, commonly cotton-based, occasionally silk or silk, or expand fabrics such as lycra, nylon, or spandex.
